Véronique Delebarre

Véronique Delebarre is a French expert in critical software engineering, cybersecurity, and embedded systems safety. She began her career as a lecturer at ENST (École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications) and ENSIIE (École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise). From 1988 to 1993, she was responsible for system analysis support methods and tools developed by Verilog, a company specializing in validation and verification tools for models and source code. In 1994, she contributed to the development of CESIR, a company that created a crypto toolkit for securing protocols. She played a key role in establishing a partnership with Communication et Systèmes, integrating CESIR’s cryptographic technology into its infrastructure security solutions. Following the acquisition of CESIR by Communication et Systèmes, she led the teams that created the ‘Trusty’product range, which remains in use today.

In 2005, she joined Thales Communications as the Scientific Director for the division responsible for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) equipment and solutions for defense communication infrastructures (C4I).

She later founded SafeRiver, a company specializing in safety and cybersecurity for embedded systems. As CEO, she led the company to significant advancements, including the development of tools ensuring interference-free software configurations. SafeRiver was eventually acquired by Serma-Technologies in July 2023.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Véronique Delebarre has contributed to industry knowledge-sharing. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in advancing security, cryptography, and software safety solutions in critical industries.
